Meet author and find great gifts at the Salem Holiday Market on Dec. 13-14, 2008

Holiday Market author's table Dec. 13, 2008

David House and up to two dozen other Oregon authors will be selling and signing their books at this year's Salem Holiday Market on Dec. 13 and 14.
Not only can you buy copies of The Key to Space and Survivor Planet directly from the author, but you also can get them signed personally to you or to someone else as a Christmas gift.
The Holiday Market will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, in the Jackman-Long Building, located on the 17th Street NE side of the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem. It’s the same building that houses the Oregon Authors Table during the state fair.
You also will find a wide variety of other gift ideas at the Salem Holiday Market, where over 200 crafts people and artists will offer thousands of gift, decorating and food items for sale. The two-day weekend event includes prizes, live entertainment and visits by Santa Claus.
Admission to the market is free, but there is a parking fee. However, on Sunday, Dec. 13, you can bring three cans of food as a donation to get free parking.
