Meet author at Salem Holiday Gift Market
Dec. 8-9, 2007

The next opportunity to buy copies of The Key to Space and Survivor Planet directly from the author will be Dec. 8 and 9 at the Salem Holiday Market.
David James House will join more than 20 other Oregon writers at the author’s table in the largest annual holiday gift bazaar in Salem.
The Holiday Market will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 8 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 in the Jackman-Long Building, located on the 17th Street NE side of the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem. It’s the same building that houses the Oregon Author’s Table at the state fair.
  Admission is free.
Shoppers also will find a wide variety of gift ideas at the Holiday Market, where over 200 crafts people and artists will offer thousands of gift, decorating and food items for sale. The two-day weekend event includes hourly door prizes, $100 shopping spree prize, live entertainment and visits by Santa Claus.
New this year is "Kids’ Quarter," featuring a balloon clown, face painting, kids’ movies, Salem Friends of Felines and Marion County Dog Control.
